Mount Arlington Man – DWI and Heroin Involved in Acme Market Crash

On January 31, 2020, 37-year-old John Cilurso, of Mount Arlington jumped a curb and struck the Acme Market building at 123 E Main Street in Denville, according to police.

Upon investigation at the scene by Denville Police, it was found that Cilurso has been drinking and was over the legal limit. A search of the vehicle also turned up heroin and related paraphernalia.

Cilurso was arrested at the site for drug and alcohol charges and was served additional summonses for careless driving and driving with a suspended license. He is to be held in jail pending a court date in Morris County Superior Court.

No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.
