Woman crashes into Little Gym in Ledgewood

According to Roxbury Police

At approximately 1:03pm on Tuesday June 21, 2016, a 78 year old Ledgewood woman, lost control of her vehicle and crashed through the front window of the Little Gym located at 470 Route 10 in Ledgewood. The business was only occupied by one employee at the time. No one was injuried. The details of the crash are still under investigation.

UPDATE - 06/23/2016: According to TAPinfo "The 78-year-old woman who crashed her car into a children’s gym in Roxbury on Tuesday did so because she got her pedals mixed up, said police today. The Ledgewood woman “mistook gas for brake,” said Roxbury Police Department spokeswoman Jen Dillard. She said the driver was charged with careless driving. A formal accident report has yet to be completed, Dillard said."

It would appar based upon their facebook page that as of Wednesday the Little Gym was still closed.
