Dows Boat Rental and Bait Shop reports:

Making their way to the scales this week included:

  • Jerry Freeman with a 6 lb 13 oz. Hybrid Striped Bass
  • Adam Kasica with a 7 lb 13 oz. Hybrid
  • Dan McErlean with a 7 pounder, all caught on herring
  • Charly Lodato, while fishing with his Grandpa and Lou Marcucci, had several nice smallmouth bass, his largest being about 3 pounds.

Our hours will change after Labor Day weekend and we will be open from 6 AM to 6:30 PM with bait and boat rentals. We usually remain open with boat rentals until November sometime, depending on the weather.

The Knee Deep Club will be holding their Fall Hybrid Striped Bass contest on Sept. 23rd & 24th and their fall walleye on Oct. 7th & 8th.  Cash prizes will be awarded for the 3 heaviest fish, with gift certificates going to 4th, 5th and 6th place.  So, make your plans now and bring a friend.
