Dows Boat Rental and Bait Shop reports:

Stripers, up to 8 pounds,  are being caught on herring and chicken livers, fishing off the points, we are seeing some pickerel, crappie and bass, with Jim Marshall weighing in a Smallmouth at 4 lb 7 oz. 

Knee Deep held their catfish contest over the last weekend with:

1st place going to Jeff Good with a 8 pound channel, winning him $255

2nd Second place was taken by Eddie Mackin with a 7 pound 10 ounce, winning $154

3rd Place went to Max Hughen, winning himself $103.

Next Fishing Contests:

Hybrid Striped Bass will be held on Sept. 23rd & 24th

Fall Walleye contest will be on October 7th & 8th
