Jefferson Gazebo Concert: The Psychedelicats - Celebrating the 1960's
THE PSYCHEDELICATS will have you celebrating the 1960's playing a mixture of British Invasion. American garage rock, psychedelic rock hits, and one-hit wonders. Band members dress in 60’s vintage flair and produce the vintage sounds of The Who. The Doors. Santana. Jimi Hendrix. The Beatles, and more.
The Jefferson Arts Committee’s free summer gazebo concerts are back for 2021. They will take place throughout the summer on Friday evenings at the beautiful Victorian gazebo in the municipal complex (1033 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge). All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and go for two hours, usually with a short intermission.
Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort. Non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds. All trash must be taken home upon departure. Social distancing is encouraged.
In the event of or threat of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Jefferson Township High School Auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road (.1 mile away). If you are not vaccinated, the Board of Education’s recommendation is that you wear a face mask.
