The Easter Bunny officially launched the Mount Arlington Annual Easter Egg hunt to a standing room only crowd at Mount Arlington Memorial Park today.

The Mount Arlington Board of Recreation volunteers were on hand extra early to help organize Mount Arlington Memorial Park into zones for different ages of egg seekers, and to help evenly distribute the eggs across all of the zones.
Afterwards, the volunteers had their hands full performing crowd and egg control, as they tried to minimize the egg poaching in the age groups where ready-set-go is unknown, when you see that egg just a few feet away.
Luckily, the Easter Bunny arrived just in time before the crowd went into riot stage from candy withdrawal. Afterwards each group was launched one-by-one to a frenzied war cry that would have made Rambo proud. It seemed with the younger groups, that the parents had already thought-out the strategy, and led (or carried) their kids to the ideal strategic position to collect the most eggs.
It only took a few minutes for each area to be picked clean, with the golden eggs going first to the lucky kids that would afterwards receive a prize for capturing the golden egg.
As always, Mount Arlington proves that it is the community with Great Spirit regardless of the event!
