Roxbury Percussionists Participate in NJPAS Day of Percussion

ROXBURY, NJ (November 1, 2019) – Roxbury High School percussion students recently performed at the New Jersey Percussive Arts Society Day of Percussion at William Paterson University. The day began with masterclass presentations on snare drum, drum set, mallet percussion, and more.

Later, the students performed for an audience and a panel of adjudicators and afterward received feedback regarding their performance.

Students from the Honors Wind Symphony performed Mosaics by Jared Spears and the students in the Symphony Band performed Drums Galore by Anthony Cirone.

The two percussion ensembles will perform their pieces at the upcoming RHS Fall Instrumental Chamber Music Concert on Tuesday, November 19th at 7 p.m. in the Roxbury High School auditorium at 1 Bryant Drive in Succasunna.
