Roxbury High School Girls Volleyball is set to hold its annual Dig Pink Night on Tuesday, October 9th at Roxbury High School at 1 Bryant Drive in Succasunna to raise money for cancer research and awareness.
The Gaels will take on Morris Knolls High School with Freshman playing at 4 p.m., JV at 5:30 p.m., and Varsity at 7 p.m.
As the biggest event of their season, the ladies will play and raise money in hopes of focusing on a cure and remembering those who have been or are touched by cancer, including former Roxbury volleyball coach and teacher Amanda Nagy.
Monies raised this year will go to the Sideout Foundation and the Amanda Nagy Scholarship Fund. The team raised almost $1,500 from this event last year and hopes to raise even more this year.
Food, refreshments, dessert, and fundraising items will be available for purchase at the event. Please come out and make a donation to support the girls in their fight against cancer! Admission is free!
Roxbury isn’t the only one to hold Dig Pink games in October. The Gaels will wear their Dig Pink uniforms next Thursday, October 4th for Randolph’s Dig Pink event at Randolph High School.
Want to check out another Roxbury Volleyball game? Then join the girls for Senior Night on Monday, October 15th at Roxbury High School as they play Dover High School. JV will play at 4:00 p.m. with Varsity at 5:30 p.m. Come out and support our volleyball teams and our seniors!
