During the period of August 21, 2018 to September 21, 2018, the Roxbury Township Police Department will be accepting registrations to take a written entry exam for the position of full-time patrol officer.

If you meet the eligibility requirements below, you may register at Roxbury Township Police Headquarters located at 1715 Route 46, Ledgewood, NJ, Monday – Friday between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. The test will be administered on September 26, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Roxbury High School located at 1 Bryant Drive, Succasunna, NJ. No previous test scores will be accepted and a minimum score of 70% is required to pass the exam.

If you already possess a valid NJ PTC certification, you are exempt from the written test. You are still required to complete the rest of the process and do not receive any preference over applicants without the certification.

Additionally, we are accepting applications for the position of a certified Class II Special Officer to work full-time patrol for approximately one year. The hiring process for this position is the same as the full-time Patrolman we are seeking.

Applicants will need a money order in the amount of $75.00, payable to the Township of Roxbury, to register to take the exam; a study guide will be provided. Applicants with a valid NJ PTC certification need a money order in the amount of $25.00. These fees are non-refundable.
