Roxbury put aside its rivalry with Randolph to team up for a great cause! The two high school cheerleading teams came together at Roxbury High School in mid-October to raise money for bullying prevention awareness.

Gail LaCosta, Franklin Elementary School Counselor and RHS Cheerleading Coach shared, “Cheerleaders came together at Roxbury High School to dye 700 pairs of socks, and then sold them to students, family members, school staff, and community members to wear to the “Blue out Bullying” game hosted by Randolph High School. The two teams combined raised over a $2,000 donation to bullying prevention.”

Great things happen when we work together!
