Roxbury Honors Top Ten Students in Graduating Class of 2017

The Roxbury High School honored the top ten students in the class of 2017 on June 8th. These students will graduate with the highest academic averages this year.

In addition to the students, the district recognized the teachers those students felt contributed most to their educational success. Parents of the honorees were invited to accompany their children to a dinner and reception in the dining hall at Roxbury High School.

Honored students and teachers shared kind words, best wishes, a few memories and tears, and thanks to each other for the impact they have had on each others lives and the Roxbury community.

Students honored at the dinner were Kaley Ubellacker, Jessica Miklinski, Samantha Tesfaye, Vilina Ong, Jonathan Luzniak, Olivia Boon, Jessica Nagie, Daniel Helmus, Jacklyn Kleinsorgen, and Tucker Voelbel.

The teachers those students felt contributed most to their educational success were Mr. Todd Nichols, Mr. Justin Kulick, Ms. Lise McLoughlin, Mr. Eric Schmidt, Ms. Barbra Hardy, Mr. Anthony McMichael, Dr. Steve Soergel, Mr. Matthew Scheneck, Mr. Cosmo Lorusso, and Mr. Justin Spargo.
