Roxbury High School Students Receive Accolades at Mt. Olive NAHS Invitational Exhibition

Ten juniors and seniors from Roxbury High School had work on display at the Mount Olive High School National Art Honor Society of Mount Olive (NAHS) Invitational Exhibition.

Where several students received recognition, placement, and scholarships for their artwork at the Artist Reception on February 2nd. This exhibition had over 100 pieces of the area’s best student artwork on view.

Three seniors received recognition at the event.

  • Leanna Bacani placed second for her oil painting on wood panels and received a two-year Merit Scholarship for $3,000 to Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD).
  • Kahli Suggs-Barnes also placed second for her digital process in graphic design. Suggs-Barnes also received a shout out from DCAD.
  • Kassandra Matiz received a four-year scholarship for $10,000 a year from Montserrat College of Art.
