LHF Nearly 30 middle school, high school, and college students came together at the Lake Hopatcong Foundation Environmental & Cultural Center on Wednesday, June 5, for the first-ever meeting of the new LHF Student Leadership Team.

Meghan Craig, a sophomore at the Morris County Environmental Science Academy, based at Jefferson Township High School, is the engine behind this new initiative, and led the 28 students in attendance through the information session.

The meeting included an introduction to the group, an icebreaker exercise to get to know one another, and presentations on a number of different projects that students could choose to join.

Anyone interested in being a part of the group is welcome to get information in the following ways:

  1. Google Classroom Code: wqi4ap

  2. Remind: Text @8dc3ca to 810-10

We are excited to see all the great work that these students can do in the months and years ahead, and are looking forward to many more gatherings of this enthusiastic and passionate group of lake leaders!
