Lake Hopatcong that has been blessed with enough rain and snow to recover partial from the 5-foot drawdown is maintaining at the agreed upon 7-foot mark.

Our understanding from the Lake Hopatcong Foundation is that keeping the lake at the 7-foot mark allows for ice build-up and expansion if necessary.

Starting on March 1, 2019 the condition of the lake and the ice will be monitored to see if the lake can regain the final 2-feet to reach the 9-foot level by the start of boating season.
