The Lake Hopatcong Foundation (LHF) continues to help the community with their major drive to Shop Local during the month of July. And this year Hopatcong Lake Regional News, will be augmenting them to further drive support and awareness with local residents into our local businesses.

If you are a business owner in Hopatcong, Jefferson, Mount Arlington or Landing/Roxbury, you don’t want to miss out this opportunity to displaying a “Shop Local” sign in your window, and have your business featured, where the customers are seeking you out, just to be part of the LHF for shopping locally.

Lake Hopatcong Foundation:

For the fifth year in a row, the Lake Hopatcong Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, is working hard to support area businesses with their “Shop Local Lake Hopatcong” campaign.

The LHF’s intent is that the residents will view the four towns surrounding the lake as their “local downtown” and, by shopping and partaking of the services available, will help keep it a vibrant part of the economy.

“Take up the challenge and make July your month to try new or familiar businesses in your lake town, as well as the other towns around the lake,” said Lake Hopatcong Foundation Development Director Jennifer DeWitt. “With so many restaurants, shops and things to do, you could find something new every day during the month. Help others find your new (or old) favorite stomps by posting photos on social media with #ShopLocalLakeHopatcong.”

Be sure to follow the Lake Hopatcong Foundation’s social media pages to join in the fun: Facebook (LakeHopatcongFoundation), Twitter (@thisisyourlake), Instagram (LakeHopatcong) and Pinterest (LakeHopatcong).

The Lake Hopatcong Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission of “improving Lake Hopatcong for all, now and in the years to come.”
