Time to think spring because the Easter Bunny has scheduled a visit to Jefferson Township on March 24, 2018.  Because the wrath of winter and sometime soon (hopefully) the warmth of spring may be upon us, the event will be held in the Jefferson Township High School’s Freedom Gym at 1010 Weldon Road at 12:30 pm.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s release of its most recent recycling data for the state’s 21 counties shows that Morris County has exceeded both its 50 percent municipal solid waste recycling goal and a 60 percent total recycling number, including all waste generated in the county.
