In Mayor Eric Wilsusen’s Fall 2020 update message, he announced the repeal of the rolling tax assessment policy.

Like so many other events being canceled due to the current Covid-19 restrictions in place, the 15th annual Christmas in the Village (CIV) celebration in the Village of Milton area of Jefferson Township has been canceled. However, the annual Gingerbread House contest sponsored each year by the Jefferson Arts Committee (JAC) during this December event will be held virtually this year.

On July 21,2020 at approximately 6:15pm, Jefferson Twp. Police Officers responded to 5774 Berkshire Valley Rd for a report of a male who was reported to be suicidal, and in possession of illegal narcotics. Additional unsubstantiated reports indicated he may also be in possession of a weapon.
