The Jefferson Twp. Police Department would like to make its residents aware of the Township’s curfew ordinance regarding under age curfew for the Halloween season.
The Jefferson Arts Committee will host the 12th annual Christmas in the Village event on Saturday, December 2 from 10 am to 4 pm in the historically designated Village of Milton (vicinity of Milton and Dover-Milton Roads) in the Milton/Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Township.
The Jefferson Township Recreation is accepting online registrations for the 10th Fall season of the Challenger Soccer Program for special needs children. Boys and girls age 5 – 18 (or the completion of high school) with physical or mental challenges are invited to join this program.
The Jefferson Township Recreation Department’s Karate Program will begin its next 5-week session on Monday, November 20, 2017 and continue through Monday, December 18, 2017 ending out the year. The program is open to school age children ages Kindergarten and up as well as adults.

Jefferson Township Police Officer of the month for September goes to Detective Justin Gjelsvik. Detective Gjelsvik has been a township resident since 1976.

On Friday, September 15, the June 2017 to June 2018 Jefferson Township Registered Teen Scene students will enjoy a trip aboard the Miss Lotta sailing on Lake Hopatcong, Mini Golf at Lake Hopatcong Golf Club, DJ Earl, Photo Booth, Pizza and Snacks.
