Jefferson Township Teen Scene (JTTS), in conjunction with the Jefferson Township Recreation Department provides positive opportunities for resident teens ranging from 6th to 9th grades. The aim of Teen Scene is to offer teens a place where they can gather with one another in a safe and supervised environment.

Installation of boating navigation lights on two Lake Hopatcong bridges in Jefferson will begin in late June after approval of the project by the Morris County Board of Freeholders, with work expected to start by late June.

Camp prepares you for life.” The Jefferson Township Recreation Department is excited to announce that its 14th season of summer day camp at Camp Jefferson will run for 8 weeks from June 26 through August 18 in a safe and natural environment at the township’s 94-acre facility at 81 Weldon Road in Lake Hopatcong, NJ.
The Jefferson Township Recreation Department’s Karate Program will begin its next 11-week session on Monday, June 5, 2017 and continue through Monday, August 28, 2017. There will be no class on July 3 and August 21. The program is open to school age children ages Kindergarten and up as well as adults.
