The new Jefferson Fest – Food Truck Festival, Concert, and Fireworks event is replacing the traditional Jefferson Township Day that ran its course for 30 years; out with the old and in with the new and food trucks are an essential part of this fresh approach to a township wide celebration.

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NJ (June 6, 2017) - In advance of Kelly Miller Circus’ arrival in Jefferson on June 22nd, the circus sent their magician, Dennis Hampel, to amaze and delight children and adults at last week’s carnival at Jefferson Middle School.
The Jefferson Township Carnival has exceeded everyone’s expectations as they have delivered fun for the entire family. With rides, food and games they bring something to intertest everyone and today is the last day for you to attend!
On Friday, August 11, 2017, the staff and campers in attendance at the Camp Jefferson Summer Day Camp will be participating in activities centering around the week’s theme of Super Heroes. At that time, they would like to honor Jefferson’s own community heroes – police officers, state troopers, firefighters, first aid responders, members of the armed forces (retired, former and current), etc.
Starting this Sunday is the long-awaited Farmers Market for the Township of Jefferson, which took months of planning and work to produce this community event for the Township.
The Hopatcong Lake Regional News was pleased to cover the opening of the Jefferson Township Farmers Market. Where the initial vendors worked hard to satisfy the big crowd that attended this opening event.
The spring rain is continuing – for now. However, once the sun comes back out, be ready to thoroughly check the outside your house, apartment, and condominium or wherever you live in Morris County and drain sources of standing water to eliminate areas where mosquitoes can breed.
