Jefferson Township Police: Road Rage – Drugs – DWI in January Report

The following is the monthly media report issued by the Jefferson Township Police Department, which recaps the activity for January 2021.

01/01/2021, Suspicious Vehicle stop, CDS arrest Cpl. Romash: Michael D’Angelo of Bronx, NY was arrested after a MV complaint of road rage. Michael was in possession of CDS, suspected Marijuana in the White Rock School parking lot. He was charged with possession of CDS, Paraphernalia within a school zone.

01/02/2021, Erratic Driving, DWI, P.O. Riley: Adam Tripp of Newton was located and stopped in the parking lot of Club 15. Investigation revealed Tripp being under the influence of an intoxicating substance. Several summonses issued and given a court time and date.

01/17/21, MV Crash, DWI/CDS Arrest P.O. Riley: Nicholas Demattheis was involved in a Motor Vehicle Crash on Rt. 23 south and Cross Rd. Further investigation revealed Nicholas was under the influence of alcohol. During his arrest he was found to be in possession of CDS (Marijuana). He was issued summonses and released with a future court date.
