Jefferson Township School Bands and Choruses will be performing in the 14th annual Christmas in the Village event scheduled for Saturday, December 7 coordinated by the Jefferson Arts Committee's Janet Breckenridge, a retired school band teacher herself who taught at White Rock School.
These talented young students along with their respective teachers/directors will be entertaining the public in free holiday concerts at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church located at 153 Milton Road and at The Milton United Methodist Church located at 316 Dover-Milton Road, both in Milton/Oak Ridge. Parking is free at both churches as well as at Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 1’s firehouse at 162 Milton Road. Everyone is invited to attend.
At St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church:
10 am -- The Arthur Stanlick Elementary School Chorus - Director Janice Fisher
11 am -- The Jefferson Township High School Madrigal Singers and Select Choir – Director Chad Flynn
1 pm -- The White Rock School Chorus - Director Sarah Ponessa
At Milton United Methodist Church:
11 am -- The Arthur Stanlick Elementary School Band – Director Emily Thomsen
1 pm -- Various Jefferson Township High School Band Ensembles – Director Daniel Gugger
2 pm -- The White Rock Elementary School Band - Director Robert Tiedemann
3 pm -- The Jefferson Township Middle School Band – Director Lauren Kulick
Other free live entertainment at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church will be No Strings A Capella at noon and the Jefferson Township Community Chorus with Director James Wynne at 2 pm performing “Holiday Favorites” in concert.
At Milton United Methodist Church, you can also enjoy the church’s very own Handbell Choir at 10 am and the Jefferson Township Community Band with Director Peter Tummillo, Jr. performing “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” at noon.

Note: The Jefferson Township Middle School Chorus with Director Danielle Schreck will once again be performing at the Jefferson Township Recreation Department’s Tree Lighting and Santa’s Arrival event in Jefferson Township on Friday evening, December 6 starting at 7 pm at the Gazebo in the Municipal Complex at 1033 Weldon Road.
Who We Are The Jefferson Arts Committee is a non-profit organization located in Jefferson Township (Morris County), New Jersey, dedicated to the pursuit of cultural and artistic activities that include but are not limited to concerts, student artist programs, special choral and instrumental performances, art and photography shows, summer gazebo concerts, and theatrical performances.
