Jefferson Police reach out again for assistance with Video Surveillance

In recent times, Jefferson Township residents have been instrumental in helping solve investigations by the Jefferson Township Police Department.

To further enhance the success of our investigations, we are requesting contact information from Jefferson residents whose homes have exterior video security systems.

Those residents who would like to volunteer their exterior video surveillance footage can be vital in quickly resolving incident and crimes that occur in/around their area. All of this information would be kept confidential and will only be used for investigation by the Jefferson Police Department.

If you have an exterior video security system and are willing to cooperate with an investigation, by the Jefferson Township Police Department, please send an email to with the following information:

1. The physical address of the residence with the security cameras

2. Resident's name, contact number, and e-mail address

3. Any other pertinent information (i.e.: number of cameras, direction of camera, etc.)
