The Jefferson Arts Committee’s Gazebo Committee is pleased to announce that Reminisce will appear in the 2019 free summer concert series on Friday evening, August 16.
What a great way to end the week and wind down for the weekend. Remember, dancing and singing along is always encouraged at these summer concerts; and free-will donations are always gratefully accepted.
More About Reminisce:
This 10-piece band will bring you back to the 50’s and early 60’s with the memorable music of that time – “In the Still of the Night”, and “Shout” and songs by The Platters, The Flamingoes, the Sherells, Dion and the Bellmonts just to name a few. Known for displaying showmanship and interaction with the audience, it will be a night to remember! http://www.reminisceband.com/
The show will be held in the beautiful Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ beginning at 7 pm and is sponsored by The Jefferson Township Public Library.
Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road. Hopatcong Lake Regional News stepped in in 2019 to keep this important initiative running and take it to the next level.
