Jefferson Township Police: Drugs, Driving the Wrong Way & Drinking top the last two weeks of activity

Over the Last Two weeks the Jefferson Township Police were kept busy with the following activities.

1/27/2019, 19-2849, Warrant/CDS Arrest, P.O. Johnson: P.O. Johnson observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Route 15 South. The driver was identified as Gerard Luoni, 48, of Sussex NJ, and was found to have an active warrant out of Pennsylvania with extradition. During the arrest Mr. Luoni was found in possession of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia. Mr. Luoni was issued a complaint summons and was transported to Morris County Jail for lodging until Pennsylvania could respond to take custody on the warrant.

1/28/2019, 19-2976, Warrant Arrest, P.O. Lamantia: Riverdale PD picked up Anthony Campana on Jefferson Warrant #E18-2157 in the amount of $750. He was unable to post and transported to MCCF.

2/3/2019, 19-3543, MV Stop / DWI, Ondish: Stephen Froitzheim of 25 Ripplewood Dr. Lake Hopatcong was towing a trailer and the trailer came loose from his vehicle. Officer Ondish observed this while responding to another call. Further investigation and field sobriety testing resulted in the arrest of Mr. Froitzheim for DWI. Alcotest result was a .17% Mr. Froitzheim was released to his mother.
