The Morris County Vocational School District will be holding three information sessions, each in a different location, for specific Share Time Programs in the next few weeks.
Interested sophomores and their families are invited to learn about two-year, half-day programs that prepare high school students for careers using the latest technology and focusing on workplace skills and real-world experiences as part of their junior- and senior-year high school program. During the information sessions, students and parents will have the opportunity to tour the facilities and meet with teachers and current students.
The information sessions will be:
Jan. 17, 6 p.m., at Pequannock High School for the Allied Health Program in conjunction with Chilton Hospital.
Jan. 31, 6 p.m., at Morris County School of Technology in Denville for Auto Body Collision Repair, Auto Service Technology, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Food Services, Building and Grounds Maintenance, Retail and Supermarket Careers, Electrical Trades, Plumbing and Pipefitting, and Welding.
Feb. 13, 6 p.m., at County College of Morris in the student center for Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing, Cybersecurity and Information Protection, Culinary Arts and Hospitality, and Horticulture and Landscape Design.
