The Jefferson Arts Committee’s Gazebo Committee is pleased to announce that the band Tequila Rose will perform in the 2018 free summer concert series on Friday evening, August 24.

This is the last of the eight-part summer series.  The show will be held in the beautiful Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road Lake Hopatcong, NJ, located at 1033 Weldon Road NJ (in the Municipal Complex) beginning at 7pm.

TEQUILA ROSE LogoTequila Rose has become one of New Jersey’s hottest “New Country” bands over the last several years by mixing the best of today’s country music with classic country hits of the past and sprinkling in a little rock ‘n roll as well as southern rock.  Known for their three-part harmonies, they have kept crowds singing and dancing at many of the area’s top clubs including Bar A in Belmar and Prospector’s in Mt. Laurel, at summer festivals and concerts, and at private parties.  Visit http://tequilaroseband.com/ to meet the band members, all professional talented musicians: Rick Newport – Lead vocals, Lead Guitar, Harmonica; John Brite – Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar; Joe Luongo – Bass, Vocals; and Elliott Rubinich – Drums.

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions.  In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road (which is air conditioned).  For information and updates, call 973-697-2032 or 697-3828, log on to www.jeffersonarts.org
or www.jeffersontownship.net

Free parking at the municipal complex with overflow parking by the Creative Playground and across the street at the Board of Education’s bus compound.

What a great way to end the week and wind down for the weekend. Remember, dancing and singing along is always encouraged at these summer concerts; and free-will donations are always gratefully accepted.
