Jefferson Police Report Road Rage, Dirt Bike Endangering Hikers

Jefferson Township Police were kept busy over the month of June and into early July with a variety of misconduct.

18-20769, 6/17/18, ACS Warrant, Wojtach: David Good, 29, Mt. Arlington was arrested by PO Wojtach for an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Newton Georgia. He was transported to Morris County Jail awaiting extradition to Georgia. 

18-21149, 6/20/2018, Road Rage / Criminal Mischief, Saparito:  Joseph Young, 31, from Oak Ridge was arrested following a road rage incident which resulted in him ripping door handle off a vehicle being operated by a resident of Lake Hopatcong. Mr. Young was processed and charged with Criminal Mischief pending a future court date.  

18-21783 6/27/18, Dirt Bike Endangering Hikers, Johnson:   A 17 year old was stopped by PO Johnson after receiving complaints about reckless motorcycle riders on the trail by path walkers on the Prospect Point Reserve Path.  He was issued several summonses.  

18-22615, CDS Arrest, Paskas:  Tahj Hall, 21, of Brooklyn, NY and Michael McKnight, 22, of Cortland, NY, were arrested at the scene of a MV stop for possession of marijuana after P.O. Paskas detected the odor from the vehicle.  Both were charged with possession and paraphernalia and released pending their court appearance.

18-22714, 7/06/2018, Possession of CDS / Warrant, Paskas: Hadxian Matthews, 29, of Montclair and Anthony Colvin, 52, of Newark, was arrested during the stop PO Paskas detected an odor of raw marijuana.  Complaints were issued pending a future court date.
