With recent school safety issues on the rise, our police department has been, and will continue our diligent task of securing our town wide schools.

We have daily safety checks at all schools, monthly and random student and faculty drills, risk assessments, and constant contact with school administration and officials. We continually monitor and investigate all matters which could pose a threat to our community.

If you observe security issues at any of our schools, this should be addressed immediately with the Principal or contacting our School Resource Officers, Detective Kratzel and SRO Fabian.

However; we also need your help - this is a community effort. If you see something suspicious or even feel something isn't right, please contact the Jefferson Township Police Department (973) 697-1300 or email tips@jeffersonpolice.com
