Jefferson Township Police find Cyber-Harassment not credible

As posted by the Jefferson Township Police Press Release, the following investigation found that the reported threat was not credible.

On Thursday, February 15, 2018, a 14-year-old male student of Jefferson Township High School was charged with Disorderly Conduct following an investigation by SRO Fabian and Detective Hecht into implied threats made by the 14-year-old against Jefferson Township schools and students.

On Friday, February 16, 2018, a 13-year-old male student of Jefferson Township Middle School was charged with Cyber-Harassment and Creating a False Public Alarms, following an investigation by SRO Fabian and Detective Hecht into threats made via electronic communications by the 13-year-old against Jefferson Township schools and students.

The threats were immediately investigated by Jefferson Township Police Department and determined not credible.
