An employee of the restaurant contacted Hopatcong Lake Regional News, “The entire staff was really hard hit by this news. The owners have always been great and did everything to provide the very best to the public and the employees. It is our understanding that the location is up for sale, and we hope to quickly be working for another great restaurant in the area.”

The Upstream Grille has been in business for a little over three years, on their Facebook page they offered.

Chef Ken Salmon, "I would also like to thank the entire Upstream staff; I am so proud of what we have achieved here and am so appreciative of your undying commitment and dedication to the pursuit of perfection and the 'collective vision,'" I will always have a special place in my heart for all of you.
