The Jefferson Township Carnival has exceeded everyone’s expectations as they have delivered fun for the entire family. With rides, food and games they bring something to intertest everyone and today is the last day for you to attend!

This annual event is once again driven by the joint efforts of the Jefferson High School and Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA or PTA for short) groups.

In speaking to Eric Wilsusen the President of the High School PTA, “We really enjoy bringing this event back to the community each year, as it very popular (attended by 300 – 500 people each night), and serves as the major fund raiser for the joint PTA groups each year. With the assistance of my co-chair Dina Troha and everyone else, here is an overview of what we have planned for this year.”

Campy’s Amusements:

Has been the vendor of choice since 2004 for this Jefferson event is one of New Jersey's cleanest family owned mobile amusement companies. Now in our 3rd generation, we have been serving many of the finest fairs and carnivals throughout New Jersey since 1969.

Safety & Maintenance

Campy's Amusements' top priority is the safety of its guests.  From patrons riding rides to children riding the rides, we take great pride in the safety of our customers.  Each week, all of our amusement rides and electrical components are thoroughly inspected by state inspectors as well as our own NAARSO certified mechanic.   Prior to daily opening, we also conduct safety checks using ride-specific check lists to ensure everything is functioning properly and all safety devices are in-tact.

During the off season, we spend the months of October through April refurbishing equipment for the upcoming season.  In winter quarters, rides are stripped down to their trailer chassis, repainted, rewired, and given a 100% mechanical and cosmetic makeover in accordance to the manufacturers original specifications.  Typically, a complete refurbishment of each piece of equipment occurs every five years, while rides are often given a mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic makeover each off season.
