National Barbecue weekend starts this Saturday, and the weather is expected to be in the 70’s and partially sunny. So, as this nicer weather encourages us to head to the grill for the National BBQ weekend, a local chief has some tips to get some mouthwatering deliciousness started for this National BBQ Celebration this Weekend.

The Borough of Hopatcong has opened the Borough Hall starting today May 13, 2020, and within one week of the request from the Mayor during the last council meeting, requesting, “a solid plan, limits and strict control using protective barriers for everyone’s health.”

Project Self-Sufficiency Board of Directors member Kathy Esposito, along with her husband, Lou, and their children attended the agency event to express their support of the staff’s efforts during the public health crisis

(Newton, NJ) - The Project Self-Sufficiency administrators and Board of Directors paid homage to the agency’s hard-working staff by creating a drive-through celebration at the agency’s parking lot on Thursday.

The day started as normal as possible for Hopatcong Special Education Teacher, Dr. Danielle Kovach as she got ready for a day of virtual learning with her students, taking care of three teenage boys and her husband that works the front lines in EMS.

Once again, the hard-working volunteer group called "Helping Hopatcong" will be supporting the community through this period as they hold their fifth No Contact - Drive-Thru Food Bank this Thursday May 7, 2020 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at the Hopatcong High School parking lot.
