Evidently Hopatcong is special with the IRS today. A couple dozen residents have received calls from "them" threatening a lawsuit if they don't pay them immediately (using "Green Dot Cards" from Walmart), Please do not fall for this scam. Do not give any information.

Hopatcong Farmers Market - Reopens June 19, 2016
Once again the Hopatcong Lake area has the Hopatcong Farmers market to look forward to this summer. Starting June 19th, the market will start its new season with vendors that sell fresh local products, such as locally gown fresh produce and meats.
While the Farmers Market always the same core vendors, each week is different with new offerings that cover everything from fresh honey, tie-died shorts and everything else under the sun.

HOPATCONG -- The borough is getting some statewide attention due to a recently taped segment of News 12 New Jersey's "Spotlight New Jersey."
The 20-minute segment first aired on April 30 and May 1, and will air again on May 7 and 8 at three times: 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Mayor Sylvia Petillo was joined by Marty Kane, president of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum and chairman of the Lake Hopatcong Foundation, and Dawn Roberts, a Gold Star mother from the borough.
