This year Hopatcong Ambulance Squad celebrates 70 years of serving the community!

Our squad started off very small with a hearse that was donated and converted into an ambulance. Our building was just a single simple garage. Volunteers have always been there to answer the call when someone was in need and including a ladies auxiliary to help support the team.

Over time our squad grew with the town and the building was renovated a few times as different ambulances were purchased. In 70 years things have really changed. We currently have a fleet of 4 ambulances that get a good workout taking between 800-1000 calls a year.

We train all throughout the year to make sure we keep our skills up to date with the latest updates in emergency medicine. As our community continues to grow and change we stand ready to take calls around the clock 365 days a year. We see 2017 already starting out as a busy year.

Wondering how you can help? VOLUNTEER! We will train you and work around your schedule. There are no words that can describe the feeling you get from helping others. Come talk with us about opportunities.

Another way you can help is DONATE! We desperately need a new building. Whether you can spare $5 or $5,000, every penny counts and will help us get to the goal so we can start construction. We do not depend on tax dollars, so raising funds are critical for our survival. Donations for the building can be made on our Gofundme page.

The Hopatcong Ambulance Squad thanks you for 70 years of support, and we are looking forward to continuing to provide services for many years to come.
