As this crazy pandemic year comes to a close, we at the Hopatcong Woman’s Club would like to extend a sincere thanks to the Hopatcong Community for their assistance with and donations throughout the year.

This includes the Veterans at Lyons Healthcare Center, DASI, I Support the Girls, and our High School Scholarship Raffle. We are still accepting ongoing donations of large and small toiletries for Veterans and DASI, all sizes new and gently used bras, cosmetic bags and feminine products for I Support the Girls, white men’s socks M to XL and all colors and sizes women’s socks for Veterans. These items can be left at the Community Resource and Wellness Center located in the shopping center at 47 Hopatchung Road.

Hopatcong Womans Club Spring 2020 In1And, as always, our ongoing food drive helps those in the community who are struggling to feed their families. It is especially important during the holiday season. Please consider a donation of non-perishable foods (no glass please) to help the Food Pantry handled by West Side Methodist Church. HWC’s collection bins are located at The Hopatcong Post Office and Hopatcong Borough Hall. Again, we appreciate your support.

With all the change that 2020 has bestowed on us, we are thankful to be both healthy and helping others during this trying time. If you’d like to contribute to any of our causes or join us as a club member, please contact us. Our Member Chairperson Lisa Hirschfeld can be reached at 973-479-9228 or e-mail: lisah101@optonline.net.
