Our Hopatcong Ambulance Squad doesn’t seem to get enough press on the great job they do every day for us. This is an all Volunteer workforce that gives up so much to be at our door within minutes of our call.

Hopatcong Ambulance Squad – October 2020 Update:

October seems to have come and gone so fast. We finished the month with 84 calls bringing our total for the year to 758.

Mondays continue to be the busiest night and 7 pm the busiest time.

The average length of a call is 81 minutes. The average time from when you dial 911 to us walking in your door is 10.82 minutes (COVID PPE prep slows us down a little). We have traveled 15,346 miles.

EMS keeps us busy with ever-changing situations and new ways to adapt and learn skills.

These are skills you can use in everyday life and use them to help your own family when in need.

Come join our squad!

Volunteers do save lives! We provide all of the training you need and even sponsor you to get your EMT if qualified. We work around your busy schedule. You can get an application at the link below or visit our website www.hopatcongems.org to learn more about us. If you have questions feel free to ask.
