The Borough of Hopatcong did an outstanding job of reminding us of what happened on 9/11 through the different speakers that covered living through the 9/11 event, the Multiple Heroes that lost their lives, and remembrance from Councilmember Dawn Roberts on the loss of life after the event.

No article I could write would not even bring justice to the comments on the video attached

The Event and Video outline:

  • Remembers 9/11
  • We will Never Forget!
  • Deacon Tom
  • Councilman John Young
  • Special 911 Poem
  • Councilmember Dawn Roberts Gold Star Mother (gsm)
  • American Line Stewardess
  • Mayor Statement
  • Fire Marshal Frank
  • The ringing of the Bells
  • Presentation of the Wreaths

  • Mayor Thoughts of Remembrance

Every morning that we leave home, we expect to return that night. That does not always happen in every case, especially in the case of first responders.
