The Hopatcong Recycling Center was forced to close in March due to heavy use by residents outside of the area. How to check residency while maintaining safe distances has been solved by providing free windshield stickers to the residents of Hopatcong.

Note: These Stickers are Required in order to use the Recycling Center.

All residents will be required to have a decal for entry and use of the Recycling Center. These decals are free of charge and to be obtained you MUST provide a copy of your vehicle registration as proof of residency and a license plate number for the vehicle being used for drop-off.

If you plan to use more than one vehicle, please provide the information for all vehicles being used.  The easiest way to provide this information, is to provide a copy of your registration, which provides everything the Borough needs.

Information Needed:

  • Primary Residence: Copy of Vehicle(s) Registration
  • Secondary Residence: Copy of Vehicle(s) Registration, and Tax Document
