Hopatcong 4th Drive-Thru Food Bank – This Wednesday (10:00 – 1:00 PM)

Once again, the hard-working volunteer group called "Helping Hopatcong" will be supporting the community through this period as they hold their fourth No Contact - Drive-Thru Food Bank this Wednesday April 29, 2020 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at the Hopatcong High School parking lot.

The drive-thru continues to be held at Hopatcong High School with a strict no-contact process to ensure the health of all. Throughout the process the driver remains in the car as they are offered food and supplies setup along 60’ of tables, which are than loaded into the truck of the car.

Message from Local Resident: “Stopped by again this morning for a few canned goods and fresh fruit. Thanks again SO MUCH for doing this. You are LITERALLY saving lives. I cannot risk public stores due to medications I take which severely compromise my immune system. Thanks for working your butts off in nasty weather to care for members of the community. You are true heroes.”

Food Bank Drive Thru II In1“Besides the following drop-off locations, we have created a GoFundMe page, where 100% of the money collected goes into shopping for residents when the Food Bank can’t cover the request.”

More About – Helping Hopatcong:

This all-volunteer group led by the Hopatcong Board of Education President Alex McLean has been one of the two main groups helping the residents since the start of the outbreak.
