On November 16, 2019, Hopatcong Defiance Engine Company #3 is holding their annual Comedy Show that will feature four big name comedians from the national circuit.
The doors will open at 6:00 PM with the Comedians starting at 8:00 PM. This is an all you can eat & drink event, plus they will be holding a 50/50 raffle.

Rich Carucci is a national touring comedian that is considered the Don Rickles of his generation. Rich Carucci is a fan of comedy. He is a second generation comedian whose grandfather was a vaudeville song/dance & comedy act. Rich was a childhood actor who appeared on several Chef Boyardee commercials, off Broadway plays and the 1972 Ed Sullivan Easter Special, ‘Clowning Around” with singer Tiny Tim, actress Lucie Arneaz and comedian Chuck McCann. Since 2001 Rich has been performing Stand Up all across the Country. He is also a regular on the New York City Comedy Circuit. His amazing crowd work and hysterical take on life and current events make him a favorite.

Jeff Paul brings a carefree, no holds barred attitude, and razor sharp wit to every stage he performs on. No topic is off limits and his unmistakable charm has allowed him to push the limits of comedy for years, making him one of the country’s favorite comedians. Jeff’s act is based on his life observations, resulting in raw, often embarrassing stories of failed relationships, his physical appearance and drugs and alcohol. He will keep you laughing from start to finish. In addition to being a Yuk Yuk’s regular, Jeff was selected for New Faces at JFL42 in Toronto, accepted to the Sudbury Comedy Festival (2016, 2017), headlined the Cottage Country Comedy Festival, was chosen twice to showcase for COCA, has been featured twice in the NXNE Festival and can be seen hosting his weekly Dope N’ Mic show at Toronto’s famed Underground Comedy Club. He also founded the Icebreakers Comedy Festival in his hometown of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Matt is a comedian, producer and podcaster based in Brooklyn, NY. He is the co-founder of the weekly Bomb Shelter Comedy Show. Culture Trip named the Bomb Shelter Comedy Show as one of the Best Free Comedy Shows to see in Manhattan. He is also the host of Trophy Dad Podcast that can be found on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.
Matt is based in NYC (Has performed at Broadway Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Comic Strip, Caroline's on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, Eastville Comedy Club) and regularly performs on the road in Houston (The Secret Group), Austin (ColdTowne, Buzz Mill), Arlington (Improv), Chicago (Laugh Factory, 1st Ward Events), and others. He has also been featured in the 5th Borough Comedy Festival, Free Standup Festival and the BSC Festival.
He can be seen every Thursday night at 8pm & every other Saturday night at 9pm on the Bomb Shelter Comedy Show at Gaf West Bar in Hell's Kitchen NYC.
Headliner: Kendra Cunningham
Kendra Cunningham is a Boston-born stand-up comic, comedy writer, actress and filmmaker living in Brooklyn, where she owns a super comfortable bed. She also bartends and has an MA in Forensic Psychology. Kendra spends most of her time wondering where the hell her sugar daddy is and hoping he didn't settle.
Boston bred and Brooklyn based, Kendra Cunningham has been named as a comic to watch by Time Out New York and has been compared to Groucho Marx and Mae West by the UK’s Chortle. A regular on the New York and Boston comedy scene, she has previously been in the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, The Glasgow Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival for two years in a row. She has twice appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing gaining two spots in the top 100 jokes of the season.
She founded Malarkey Pictures along with her sketch partner, Vicky Kuperman and went on to produce dozens of short films including, the Award Winning short “LonelyGirl48”, which they turned into a web series that went on to win festivals along with the web series “Why Is Everybody Always Hitting On Me”. Their festival wins and screenings include Boston Comedy Festival, Palm Beach International, SENE, St Louis Film Festival and Boston Film Festival.
Kendra’s latest solo projects include a pilot “Swagger”, an unscripted show “I’m Not Buying It” and a mock meditation series “Spiteful Meditations” which are in the festival circuits now. Her collaborative short with Sean Cassels, “Neighborhood Network” screened in the Nice International Film Festival in 2018.
Her debut album, Blonde Logic, was released in 2016 by Rooftop Comedy and in 2017, Blonde Logic a book of comedic essays was released on Kindle. Kendra’s comedic goal is to get paid to write from her bed where she eats, sleeps, and occasionally entertains.
