The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is seeking one (1) Dump Truck Driver hourly employee, as part of Hopatcong State Park’s Weed Harvesting Program for Lake Hopatcong.
The primary responsibilities will be to help load dump trucks with weeds harvested from the lake, via a conveyor system; driving the truck to a nearby composting facility; offloading weeds via a power bed lift; and filling out appropriate paperwork.
Weekdays, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Candidate is required to be able to operate a large dump truck in a safe manner; previous dump truck operation is preferred • Candidate must be team oriented
- A general knowledge of the geographic working area is preferred
- Candidate should be able to answer basic questions about the weed harvesting program, if approached by the public
Education: High School Diploma
License: Candidate will be required to possess a current driver’s license valid in New Jersey.
