The Hopatcong Middle School Student Council held a Gingerbread House Decorating Contest on Monday, December 17.

Students formed four-person teams and competed to win a prize for the best overall design. Prizes were sponsored and awarded by the PTO. Ten teams competed for first place and honorable mention prizes.

The Student Council’s mission is to develop leaders and role models through involvement with the Hopatcong Community. Students in the council perform building and community service projects, such as clothing and food drives for Hopatcong students and their families. They also participate in fun after-school activities, such as this one!
