Hopatcong Middle School students donated over 65 pairs of pajamas.

The Hopatcong Middle School Student Council held a pajama drive to help needy families this holiday season. Student Council members encouraged students to donate a pair of pajamas for a chance to wear pajamas to school on December 17, Pajama Day.

Student Council members also helped Nurse Barbara Beere with collections of donations for the annual gift-giving tree. Students wrapped gifts and pajamas for the families on Monday, December 10 in the middle school cafeteria.

The Student Council’s mission is to develop leaders and role models through involvement with the Hopatcong Community. Students in the council perform building and community service projects, such as clothing and food drives for Hopatcong students and their families.
