Job seekers, and those interested in advancing at their current place of employment, are invited to attend a Career Fair at Project Self-Sufficiency, Thursday, October 18th, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Area employers and educational institutions will be on site to promote job openings and educational opportunities. Workshops about resume-writing, networking and interview skills will be held throughout the day. Attendees will be entered to win a $100 Shop Rite gift card. The Career Fair is free and open to the public; no registration is required. Project Self-Sufficiency is located at 127 Mill Street, Newton.
“Project Self-Sufficiency’s Career Fair allows job seekers to get immediate feedback on their resume and interview skills, in addition to learning about job openings and options for furthering their education,” noted Project Self-Sufficiency Executive Director Deborah Berry-Toon. “Attendees can learn new skills and gain the confidence they need to pursue a successful job search.”
