On Saturday, September 15, the Marching Chiefs performed a combined halftime show with the Harrison High School (NY) Marching Band, the West Point Wildcat Spirit Band, and the United States Military Academy Band at the West Point Football game vs. the University of Hawaii.

Marching ChiefsThe Marching Chiefs boarded buses shortly after Friday’s home football game, and were rehearsing at Michie Stadium, West Point at 6:00am.  In addition to rehearsing and participating in this exciting venue, the Chiefs were treated to a private demonstration of the West Point Parachute team (as they landed on the filed during the band practice practice), and were given a clinic by Master Sergeant Jeff Prosperie, the drum section leader from

The Hellcats (the traditional Field Music Group of the West Point Band), who discussed his life as a university professor, professional drummer, and of the career responsibilities of a military musician.  Later, the Chiefs watched the cadet review, participated in history lessons about West Point, and were able to climb on and explore decommissioned military tanks and helicopters.
