Patrick Bertoletti from Chicago is an expert competitive eater, and he will be coming to Hopatcong NJ on Monday, July 2nd to take on the highly sought SABRETTI’S TOP DOG EATING CHALLENGE.
During this contest, Patrick will need to eat all 30 Jumbo Specialty Dogs in order on the menu that includes the bun and all the toppings within fifteen minutes and remain seated with no issues for an additional 10 minutes. If successful, Patrick will win $2,000 and be the first to gain this title, as the only other closer contender topped out at 24 jumbo specialty dogs.
Patrick seems to have a unique talent for this competitive sport, as he is listed on 30 World records. To name just a few of his many great awards:
- 47 pizza slices in 10 minutes
- Won the 2015 Wing Bowl by eating 444 wings in 26 minutes
- Won second place in the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating contest by eating 55 hot dogs in ten minutes
- 47 glazed and cream-filled doughnuts in 5 minutes
How Patrick does it:
“It all started as being part of an Italian family, where you couldn’t have desert until you finished your meal. That’s where I first found I had the capability to eat quickly. Afterwards I started working on strengthening my Esophagus and Dilating my Stomach. which is a regiment I still just 10 years later. This is what has helped me to eat 444 wings”.
