Is your family ready for something different, where the whole family can participate in an outdoor activity where you learn to develop a new skill?

If so, you are ready to try the Appalachian Bowmen spring shoot, where everyone gathers for one to three days of fun tradition archery, that brings you back to the Robin Hood days.

The Appalachian Bowmen Club has been in existence for over 50 years and will be conducting their Spring Shoot on April 20th – 23rd as a service to help keep Archery alive, and to teach the skill to new people. You do not need to be a member of the club to join in the fun.

OVERVIEW:

During this three-day outdoor event, professionals can advance their expertise, while beginners can start by learning the basics, and advance gradually to the shooting of 3D Targets. The entire family is welcome and encouraged to participate, as this club has something for everyone.

According to Club President, Chris Duhaime, “We have worked hard to ensure this is a family event. Where anyone of any age can learn the art of Archery, or if more experienced you can better your skills throughout our different ranges.

This event will only use the tradition bows of curved and longbows to keep the shoot authentic, if you are looking to use compound bows, or crossbows, you’ll need to attend the summer event.
