Regardless of the weather, Hudson Maxim celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast, while the Students and Parents read the classic books to the group.
The weather couldn’t stop an annual tradition in room 113 at Hudson Maxim! Despite school being closed on Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd, Mrs. Sciabica held her annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Breakfast sponsored by the Hopatcong Education Association one week later on Friday, March 9th.
After teaching her students and guests about the beloved Dr. Seuss, she prepared green eggs and ham while the children and parents read to each other. After sharing their “seusstastic” meal including Cat in the Hat cheesesticks, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, but no Blue Fish Goldfish crackers, brown Barbaloots (chocolate Teddy Grahams) from The Lorax, and Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can Yoo Hoo chocolate milk they played Green Eggs and Ham tic-tac-toe!
