Hopatcong Ambulance Squad provides Borough with over $50,000 Cost Avoidance in 2017

Hopatcong Ambulance Squad saw a 4% increase in 2017 over last year, and helped the Borough avoid over $50,000 in costs.

Other important statistics for 2017 include:

  • Responded to 932 calls - Up 4% from last year

  • They traveled 21,344 miles - Same as driving from NYC to LA seven times

  • Worked 2,861 Hours – Which if they were not volunteers means $57,220 of tax payers money if they earned $20.00 a hour
